BWCF GALA RECAP

OH WHAT A NIGHT!!

The planets aligned and the stars were definitely shining on March 1st when the Boca West Children’s Foundation celebrated its 10th Anniversary to raise awareness and money to fund its projects with 24 Children’s Charities in our area.

A full house of 880 attendees honored Founder and Chairman, Arthur Adler, for his years of philanthropy. Jay Leno, the evening’s entertainment, delighted the audience and closed the evening to roaring laughter and great insights.

Most importantly, over $1,000,000 was raised to assist the children at risk in our area. The funds will support programs such as the Boca Helping Hands Back Pack Food Project in which 2200 children in our area receive 6 meals for the week end, the Pediatric Dental Clinic at the Caridad Center, a Wellness Clinic for 400 kids at Florence Fuller Child Development Center West, programs at the JAFCO Ability Center and our Anti-Human Trafficking Project at the Place of Hope. These programs and many others feed, clothe, educate and most of all keep over 5000 children, safe, each day.

It’s been a gratifying first decade, but we must look to the future to ensure these children have the best chance for a bright future.
